Using world renowned Canadian Rock Maple, known for its beauty, strength, and acoustical qualities; HeadHunters has created the essential premium drumstick.
Drummers will immediately notice the distinctive grip areas and unique taper profiles in each of HeadHunters three Maple Grooves™ series. Taper options include the long curve of the A Series, with its short reverse taper to the butt. The B Series features a long, butt to tip straight taper – reminiscent of the traditional pipe band drumstick. Our C Series family has a short curved ‘cambered’ taper, along with a very short reverse taper to the butt end. The L or “Long Groove” Series will appeal to drummers who prefer to wear gloves when they play. With a taper profile similar to our B Series, the long grooves provide precise means for better finger placement and stick control. All HeadHunters drumsticks tips are rounded, producing a warm yet articulate cymbal tone. The grip area is thicker than normal which reduces undesirable shock and vibration transfer to drummer’s wrists and arms.
